Lucia Caminos is one of the two playable leads of Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Jason Duval, and the series' first female protagonist since it moved to 3D. Here is everything Rockstar has officially shared about her so far, ahead of the game's release on November 19, 2026.

Who is Lucia?

Lucia learned to fight from her father almost as soon as she could walk, and life hasn't stopped throwing punches at her since. Standing up for her family sent her to the Leonida Penitentiary, and only luck got her out. She has learned her lesson: from now on, only smart moves.

What she wants above all is the good life her mother has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City. But where her mom had half-baked fantasies, Lucia is ready to take matters into her own hands.

The story so far

Rockstar sums up the starting point: Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. When an easy score goes wrong, they end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy that stretches across the state of Leonida, and have to rely on each other more than ever to make it out alive.
